NEW FEATURES IN VERSION 3.0
- As characters are entered, the text now joins 'on-the-fly' like an ordinary document
(Ideal when used for real-time instruction on whiteboards during lessons)

As in previous versions, the improved Preferences can of course be used to change whether to join or not join descenders (g, j, y)
and you may also introduce a break in joining wherever you wish, by adding a control character, as our example shows.
- Standard drop-down menu interface

All commands are now accessed by standard menus. The Text menu for example changes Font, Size and Colour.
Most commands also have keyboard shortcuts to speed your work.
- Joins Preferences

The Preferences window can be left open while text is entered.
When any combination of the five Joins options is chosen, a sample is displayed showing the letters that will be affected in a RED colour.
In this example, join from t in "nets" was a result of the "mixed baseline and cross-bar" t option.
The Joins Preference was then changed to "baseline joining t" and "lets" was entered.
- Save Text documents in standard TXT format and re-open when required.
Now there is no need to copy and paste into other documents (as in previous versions).

- New floating tool palette enables Open, New, Save, Print, Copy, Cut, Paste, Delete
(Less distracting for pupils than the use of the menus and quicker for the teacher)

- Help menu:
User Guide... PDF with index of topics.
Check for Updates... keeps you up to date with latest releases.
Online knowledge base... topics will guide you through using the program.
