Uninstalling Windows fonts

If a font fails to be deleted, it may be manually deleted by following these steps:

Click START > Control Panel > Appearance and Personlization > Fonts to see all fonts installed in your Operating System. Click VIEW > BY LIST to see them alphabetically ordered.

Right-click onto the required font file, select PROPERTIES.
Click the SECURITY tab, select USERS, then press EDIT.

Check the permissions ON for:
Full control
Modify
Write
Spoecial permissions
Click 'APPLY', then OK.

Right-click again onto the required font file, select 'DELETE' and confirm.
The file *may* appear to still be listed. Click the REFRESH icon (two circular arrows) in the menu above the Fonts window to refresh the list, which should now show the updated list with the font now deleted.
