The separate 'Sassoon Joiner' application which controls these fonts has been replaced:

Registered Users of any version 1, 2 or 3 of the application may Upgrade to the OpenType font family.

OpenType fonts released
A family of 'join-as-you-type' cross-platform (Windows/Mac OS) fonts for use with any application compatible with OpenType font 'features' has been released. For example, when an OpenType 'savvy' application such as Microsoft Word 2010, Quark XPress 7.5, Illustrator 10 or TextEdit is used with the installed font, the built-in 'features' palette of that application is used to change the Default letter joins to the Stylistic Sets 1 - 6. This example palette is from Mac OS X TextEdit application. Others are similar:

Reliance on a separate application made by us to control the joins is no longer required. Instead, use your favourite application with these joining fonts. Note that OpenType fonts are a different product from previous fonts. Word, joins and text endings will reflow if used in old documents that contain the previous fonts, so text must be reformatted.
