Slab serifs, narrow proportions, robust weights and generous x-height, lends itself to on-screeen use, particularly for web designs. Italic weights are equally robust and hold up well in challenging situations.
The original Bulldog design celebrated the first hundred years of the Grotesque style celebrated with Bulldog, a design by Adrian Williams completed in 1989.
