These Pro Roman fonts contain many supported languages. Their swash letters and flourishes also provide embelishment to your work. The original Monkton typeface from 1986 was just the beginning for this typeface family. My inspiration came from my childhood experiences in the 1960s at Monkton, amidst an historic part of Somerset in the South West of England. Its name honours not only the area where the original alphabet was conceived and drawn, but also the people responsible for fostering my initial interest in letters.
